In the 2024-2025 season, soprano Magdalena Kuźma will debut at The Aspen Music Festival as Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. This fall, she returns to The Metropolitan Opera where she will sing Papagena in The Magic Flute. She makes a role debut singing Bubikopf in Der Kaiser von Atlantis with New World Symphony and can also be seen in recital with Sam Martin at Cincinnati Song Initiative

Polish-American soprano Magdalena Kuźma has won the Kosciuszko Foundation 2024 Marcella Sembrich International Voice Competition, receiving the first prize of $8,000 and special performance awards offered by the Gerda Lissner Foundation and the Connecticut Lyric Opera.

Magdalena was the Grand Prize Winner of $15,000 in the 2024 Jensen Foundation Vocal Competition. 

THE GIULIO GARI COMPETITION

2nd PRIZE WINNER

Magdalena Kuźma was the second place winner in the 2024 Giulio Gari Competition having sung both Gounod's Poison Aria and Moniuszko's "Ha! Dzieciatko nam umiera".
